New York City in the summer is not for the faint hearted. It's humid, crowded and an average of 10 degrees hotter than the surrounding area. With that being said, I try to avoid it unless I absolutely cannot. Fortunately for me I had an interview in the city on this unbearably hot Friday afternoon. In an effort to make the trip worth my while, I headed over to a popular art gallery in SoHo called Blackbody. It's a custom light fixture showroom located at 25 Greene St. Modern artists are invited to put up displays throughout the showroom giving Blackbody that gallery-esque aesthetic and feel.
Not to distract from the amazing art at Blackbody, but I had to mention Delicatessen. Located at 54 Prince St., it's one of my most visited restaurants in SoHo solely because the food is just that good.
